International artist Karl Harron is coming to Ontario to teach "The Perfect Vessel"
We are so pleased to be able to offer this workshop. Karl has a wealth of knowledge and experience. His "Perfect Vessel" workshop is sought after throught the world. Karl is known for his knowledge of working with deep slumps as well as his knowledge of Bullseye reactive glasses. He will be focusing on Bullseye 137 & 313 together. Students will be able to work with confidence & knowledge from idea to finished form.
Karl will also be teaching cold working techniques to perfectly finish the "Perfect Vessel" He brings along with his wealth of knowledge, Power point presentations as well as all the technical details needed to help you with your ideas.

Summer Events
This summer we are offering a few intensive workshops. These are designed to encourage growth in your Kiln Forming knowledge.
June 13-15th. Flow. Learning to harness the creativity of Flow in glass. This workshop will teach you how to set up dams and create movement, as well as how to anticipate movement in your work.Times 13th & 14th 6-9. 15th 11-2 Cost $349-
July 11-13th: Inclusions- We will be going on field trips around the studio to "Find" pieces that can be included in our kiln forming experience.You will learn how to determine what will be able to be included as well as designing with specific inclusions. Time 10-4 daily. Cost $459. Everything included.
August 8th & 9th. Reactives. We have been somewhat introduced to reactive glass during the Bullseye experience. But in this workshop you will be exploring silver as a means to exhibit variations in glass. We will also be exporing the many effects of French Vanilla and other wonderful reactive glasses. This is a very fast paced workshop in which you will make many tiles using different reactive glasses. Times 10-4. Cost $349
All workshops above include materials. Students are expected to bring lunch.
Saturdays during the summer. The studio is available for student rental. This includes use of studio tools, kilns, as well as technical assistance from the Studio Elves. Please call ahead to book your weekend. Enjoy working on your personal project while also learning from other peoples ideas. Please note there will be no coldworking during these open studio sessions. Cost $40- plus materials
